The figures at the right side of ENEC mark are the identification of CCA member states (Note: different figures represent different member states / certification bodies, for example, 17 represents Nemko). There are 21 member states and 23 certification bodies. The certification bodies' mark can also be added if manufacturers request. ENEC demonstrates to consumers and relevant authorities that the product is certified by a third-party certification agency with a high credibility. In short, the mark needs to:
Be tested and certified by certification agencies of ENEC member states, such as Nemko, Semko and so on.
The manufacturer's product management must comply with the ISO9002 or equivalent standard.
According to inspection procedures, the initial and minimum annual production volume will be inspected by the certifying agency.
Certified products will be re-tested selectively every year.
